Tom has been a part of Park Bikes since 2012. Originally, he did work experience with us, and we immediately offered him a job afterwards.
Tom really understands excellent customer service and will always do his best to make sure that everyone is looked after. He manages the coaching business and also looks after reporting, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Even though Tom is quite young his maturity and small business knowledge are years ahead of his age.
After receiving an almost perfect ATAR in his HSC, Tom has deferred university to travel, ride, enjoy life, and work at Park Bikes. Tom comes from a Downhill/Enduro MTB background, but now enjoys road riding as well.
Rachael Works Saturdays in the shop. Rachael and her family have been friends of Park Bikes since 2015 via the Western Sydney Academy of Sport where Rachel is an Academy Athlete. She is an active Parklife Cycling Club member & races competitively on the road, track and mountain bike.
Rachel did work experience at the shop & we were impressed by her mechanical skill, so she was quickly added to the weekend roster.
Customer Service/Inventory Management
Hannah has been a friend of Park Bikes and a sponsored athlete since she was 14. After coming through the Western Sydney Academy of Sport & Parklife Cycling Club programs, she is a now a multiple state track champion, and a medallist at the Australian Championships and Oceania Games.
Hannah not only excels on the bike, she also has a brilliant academic record and was her School Captain. She's currently doing a Psychology degree at Sydney University.
Hannah works during the week and some Saturdays. She looks after customer service, inventory management, and merchandising to keep the shop looking majestic.
Matthew has 12 years' experience as a Physiotherapist. He has worked with various clinics and private sporting institutes over this time helping teams and individual athletes achieve their best.
Matthew does bike-fitting for us on a contract basis, and also works in the shop. In addition to this, he has a contract with the NSW Institute of Sport to provide Physiotherapy to some of the best athletes in the world in the lead up to the Tokyo Olympics.
Matthew is an active member of Triathlon NSW, Balance & Parklife Cycling Clubs.
Alex works on Saturdays as a mechanic. He has well over 20 years of experience working on bikes and has spent time working in retail, finance and marketing (most recently for Yamaha).
Alex is a dedicated family man, but between that and his two jobs, he still get out on the mountainbike in his backyard - the Blue Mountains.
Lachy works part time in the shop. He's studying Engineering and doing some criterium races.
